Celeborn was kinsman of Elu Thingol and mighty among the Teleri. He was a lord of the Sindar and Silvan elves for at least 7,000 years. His best memories would be of them, not the Noldor. Even his wife is only 25% Noldor and never served nor ruled a Noldorin kingdom in Middle Earth even though she was accounted as a Princess by them.

I didn’t say they were his memories, I said he took with him the last memory of the Noldor, as he is the last named elf connected to the Noldor to travel over the sea, assuming Elladan and Elrohir had either chosen to be men or already gone. There were plenty of Sindar and Silvan elves left in Middle-earth. Might be a poor choice of words but I used it to symbolise the end of the Noldor’s story, as the series started and followed the Noldor for most of its length.
Also, Galadriel and Celeborn both served/ruled parts of Lindon, which was a Noldorin kingdom. They later also ruled Eregion, which was populated by Noldor and taken over by Celebrimbor after they had left.
